Bought 1954/2K when I was around 30 or so and sold it a few years afterward. Picked up 521/1K last year at the ripe old age of 35, and will be 36 next month.

I've wanted one of these since I first saw Andre's (grocery getter) car at a Porsche autocross event a few NW DSM'ers ran in. Back in 1998 or so. Man, it's a been a long time. /ubbthreads/images//graemlins/banghead.gif

And I still have the same GVR4. How about that? Bought it in '96. Have the same GVR4 for 11 years now.

I'm 25. I bought the car on July 3, 2001 when I was 19 and it had 113,375 miles on it. I fell in love with GVR4s the minute I first read about them, probably when I was 17 or so, and knew one day I'd own one, despite having no idea what they looked like. I'd never even seen one (not even a picture) until I drove up to John Teeter's house (the PO) and he had 3 in the driveway: a Kensington Gray DD, a Summit White rally car, and the Belize Green I now own up for sale. Yea, there might have been a little leakage in the pant department. It was far more beautiful than I could have imagined. She's now got about 127,000 or so miles on here and while we're both a tad more worn I haven't looked back since. I've never owned any other car.

41, pre-ordered and got the '92 new from the dealer when I was 25.

26

I had messed around with DSMs for a few years. 90 Talon Tsi 225k miles,92 GSX 380whp.

I wanted a good reliable GVR4, since EVO were out of the question.

So I bought 638 from a "Well respected" Member of New England DSM. 638's Flywheel exploded

Well that member ripped me off and the whole club came to his side in the matter Galant Story
So I spent the last 2.5 years rebuilding it the PROPER way and here we are.

Been a long, arduous process. I could've bought an Evo after this, but I wouldn't! /ubbthreads/images//graemlins/grin.gif
