Sure, send them. Man, how did it rust out so fast? It's crazy that I sold this car Oct of 2017 and you rescued it from the scrapper in 2020 around valentine's day. The winter environment is really bad on cars in the mid-west when you leave cars outside. A lot of work has been done and it needs a lot more rust repair. Great work! I hope to get back into another gvr4 some day...

Noticed items I put on the car that was still there, I guess on it's way to the scrapper...LOL
cf speaker cover gauge cluster
autometer boost gauge
3g mas
oem cd stereo

The seats cleaned up very well. This car had a lot of good useable oem parts. I happy you saved it from going to the scrapyard! I hope one day I'll get my hands on another gvr4...

Yep everything is still there! Those seats, were actually a buddy’s they were missing the front seats the seat belts a the rad a some other stuff. He said, he was gonna use it as a derby car I’m not sure why you would take out the seats but I really didn’t care I just didn’t wanna see the car go to scrap so here we are.

Galant VR-4, 702 of 2000 is: somewhat, daily driven. It would have broken out of the 12.5 index class at the 2024 DSM shootout, if the cam angle sensor had not come loose. Best time was 12.58. Thanks go to Curt Stuart, my transmission builder, for that awesome time. My reaction time sucked. And thanks to Chris Mauter for all the build advice and tuning the ECM Link v3 for me. Needless to say, it is no longer stock. The active suspension was deleted and 5 lug swapped before I acquired the shell in San Francisco. AWS was removed to allow for installation of 4 bolt rear axles. EVO 8 front brakes and master cylinder replaced the stock ABS. BC coilovers. Stock block and crank.

Checking in after a long "intermission" as well. Still own all the pieces for #1269 and more, but unfortunately I took it apart years ago and haven't put it back together yet. Once my other cars are sorted (Fiesta ST and NA Miata) and I clear some garage space, I've been starting to think about picking back up and getting the car running again.

Any owners left in the bay area that are still driving around and active? I saw a green one a few years back, but haven't spotted any others around

Where in the bay area are you? I haven't seen any vr4s driving around the past few years. I picked up 789/1000 in dec. Not driving yet but i got it started.

Mountain View. Unfortunately mine has been sitting in the driveway with no engine for years, because life happened.

New GVR4 owner here but I’ve been a DSM Owner off and on since 2004. Just picked up 1788 last week and it’s running and driving great! Hope to get to know some of you better and learn a thing or 2 about my car. View attachment 4643
It's entirely possible we have met in the past at some point. I'm up in Haverhill now but am occasionally down in Kingston/Plymouth. Looking forward to seeing this thing at some point

Now that you say it, I’d remember that user name from anywhere lol. Pretty sure we met at the Milk st. Underground garage meet like 10 years ago. I had just bought Zach B’s old AWD Spyder. If your ever in the area hit me up and we can take 1788 for a rip.

Absolutely remember that interaction because it made me feel old LOL. “You’ve been around forever” 😂
