Those rally light pods look like fun /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I've seen another version that has them in the traditional 4x1 shape sitting over the gril, not the bumper.
I wonder how big Nissan's band was when they launched the GTR (12-18 months later?).... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

It's hard to picture how big of an impact this car had when it first came out in 1987/88. The numbers, on paper, just seem so below par compared to todays cars - in the same way that Triumphs, Jags and Mercs from the 40s, 50s and 60s were big 5L V8s and put out only a tiny (by todays standards) 100-150 hp.

A high school I used to work at has a 1991 model 4G63T engine/trans/transfer case that are all cut away and on a stand for display. It is pretty awesome. I'll have to take a picture next time I am out there.

The school is in the town of Normal, where the DSM plant is and was donated by Mitsubishi.

Those pics are obviously doctored - there's no way any car has more body roll than a stock VR4!

Must be a brochure from 1987 or there abouts with a U11/U12 CA18ET (I have a feeling they didn't get twin cam CA18s) bluebirds as its main rival!
