I never heard anything back from him...

^^ I asked if a E8 bar would work before one time, no one ever answered. I'm sure it should but really its just measuring pillar to pillar.

Yeah I asked a buddy to take measurements on his Evo 8 since he has a harness bar. I'll put up the info when I hear back from him.

I actually have a 3 speed harness bar sitting here. I was going to use it to make more duplicates, as I've cleared this with Harry. However judging by how cheap everyone on this list is these days, and the cost of material and hourly labor to make these bars and shipping and the consequence of having 90% of the 'I want one!' crowd backing out AFTER the bar is made and AFTER the labor is expensed, I had to sit on that idea.

I'd still be interested in one if somebody decides to fabricate one. If it was just like the threespeed one. Understandably, most people probably back out, but I'm serious. If you decide to get rid of the one you have grocery_getter, let me know via pm.

The jig we made up for the harness bar was accidently scrapped years ago.

If someone would send me one of the bars we made I will make a new jig and have more made pretty quickly. I still have the templates for the plates that bolt it to the car.

Spoke to my buddy. He can drop it off to Harry next week if that's ok with Harry.

Please anyone with interest reply in this thread because he doesn't want to take it off unless there's interest and no flakers!

Correct me if im wrong, but isnt a harness bar supposed to be higher than that? I mean harness are supposed to be at 45 degrees?

The pics way up in the first couple posts are of my car. The harnesses are pretty much level with my shoulders. I think the bar is spot-on as far as placement.
