Heat can affect electrical components. Does it restart? It dies like you shut it off or sputters and dies? If it dies like you shut it off likely some electrical component is failing. Ignition transistor can do this. Does it start again after it cools off? A quick and dirty test for the transistor. After the car dies does the tach twitch when you try and start it? If it doesn't test the transistor. Are all connectors solid and not intermittent? Only a handful of electrical components will completely shut the car off like you turned the key. That is what you are describing correct?
I had an ECU that went bad, and once it warmed up it would cycle the MPI relay on and off, might not stall, but serious stumble, occasional stall yes. Another important spot to learn. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
