Not really, the Challenger should be the same as last year. This will most likely be the last Shootout for the Challenger. Unfortunately the rust has become an issue. (since it's spent the last 13 years in the Northeast.) The plan will be to swap it all into the recently acquired Mighty Max for next year.



Sorry to hear that man, I hate rust. Glad hill be swapping over to a mighty max though, I love seeing those that are 4G63 swapped.

No worries, Mike. It happens. I went pretty much every year from 2004 through 2010, but haven't made it in 2 years. Looking forward to going back.

I missed meeting up with Milt and a few other guys I would have liked to meet last year. I'm trying to avoid that this year

They were only around for a few mins before leaving to go watch the racing. I'll try and get a hold of them towards the end this year.

I think we will be going up Thursday this year. Staying at the Econo Lodge. I am done racing my local events for the year just to save the car for the shootout. My wifes transmission died in her Honda again and it was out of warranty so I had to pay out of pocket to fix it. Took all of my reserve car money for the year so she is retired till then. I don't want a repeat of last year rebuilding the motor and getting done 2 days before the shootout. We are bringing a drag Evo that I've been helping out on to run in the Q32. I'm going for max effort this year. We'll see. The car is fast on the auto-x course and will hopefully run mid 11's in the quarter. Bushur's new rules are making me buy new tires only to run at the shootout. Hope to see everyone soon.

I'm bringing it. I'm just not going to race it until the shootout because if I break it I wouldn't have the money to fix it before the shootout. I've got to try and keep the Galant the fastest car at the auto-x.

Ahh ok gotcha. Hey do you think they'll let me do the autocross, but not the track? I just don't wanna break on the track and not have a way to get all the way back home.

Yes Mike, you can do just auto cross. You don't have to do Max Effort and drag race as well.
