Hahaha. You can't really see in most pics how beat up the hood is, but you can see all the dents from the under side while it's open!

Is it just a reflection, or is the driver fender caved in too?

It actually almost looks like that pic was photochopped with a white streak across the fender, intended to be glare. I considered this carefully before asking the question before.

It's all good. At least this vr4 is still out there, and on the road!

Do you know anything about how they had the Dyno Dynamics setup? A real load based dyno will pin point ever week point in any setup. My car was on power for 6 seconds in 3rd gear, that would normally be a 2nd threw 4th gear run. Nice numbers if you made 634awhp. Get that thing back on a dyno with the better ignition and see what it can do. Nice looking car for sure.

I think a good name for the car would be "Al Dente". Sweet build, I have 1901/2000!

Awesome build. Car looks so good. You should drive it out to where you rescued it and take new pictures. I like what you did it.

P9172037.jpg

then lastly something im very excited about and could potentially be a great idea for production, i used my stock Mitsubishi throttle body and chopped off the idle control motor to make a remote mount throttle control unit that will plug into my stock wiring harness but still allow me to use the larger 76 MM GM TB.

P9172038.jpg

stay tuned because there should be A LOT of updates to follow.

Very out of the box route to take your intake mani, what was your reasoning behind doing a hybrid off of the old runners as opposed to an out of the box SMIM? But awesome fab work none the less.
