So obviously my only hope of keeping up is to stay on the twisty tracks, or just hope you spin off /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

also love the audi wastegate, havent seen anyone use one in a LONG ass time.

i should probably read back threw cuz i cant remember now, but what are the specs on the motor and holset?

Yeah I may tack a small brace from flange to flange but I thought the expansion difference may make more stress on the tubing and promote cracking. But I may also run a brace from the WG to the manifold for vibration so it's still in the works.

It's an 8 blade HX35 with the BEP bolt on housing. The engine is a 6 bolt with 2g dsm pistons. Running ARP mains, rods and head studs. Stock cams for now but that will eventually change. EVO 8 exhaust valves, springs and retainers.

I picked up a 3000gt vr4 brake setup using slotted and dimpled cobra 13" rotors.

The calipers needed some TLC so I decided to start cleaning and finishing them.

Tig welded the small dimples and started smoothing it all out.

Looks nice, what was the welding for?

Are those 1g or 2g calipers?

Are the cobra rotors bigger than the 2g 3kgtvr4 rotors?

Where did you get those brackets?

The welding was to fill in small casting divets so I can smooth everything out.
The brakes are 1g 3kgt calipers. I am not fully sure the differences from the vr4 rotor to cobra rotors.
RTM racing sells the brake kits but I traded parts for this kit.
