Toybreaker

yep, Mr. Toybreaker has my car in his posession and is getting to see just how much I have loved it for so long... It has been my baby for almost 10 years and it has a lot of cool little things that make it awesome /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif THanks John for keeping my car in the fold.. If things straighten out here, I might try to buy it back off you for whatever the expenses it cost you to save it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

john is a hell of a guy! He hooked me up with a new Coolant temp sensor harness and sent it to me for free and asked nothing in return. Guys like john are what make this board great as it is. Thanks again man, greatly appriciate it!!

+1 helped me out by answering some questions and trying to track down some parts when rebuilding my slave and master

Well, this time he drove ALL the way up to Fort Collins with two spare kickpanel fuse boxes, and we got that piece working (and he did 95% of the work, and educated me on datalogging basics). At no cost (but I gave him some money to cover the bearings in the rear hub I "borrowed" from him). Truly a man with a love for these cars. I would not hesitate to go out my way to return the favor to him, and I hope I can emulate his model behavior when I amass enough knowledge on any given system in these puppies to be worth asking technical advice.

Thanks again, John!

John notified me by telephone of a great deal on a stock exhaust in the for sale section here. I had posted a WTB for one, but was starting to change my mind because I didn't want to spend much on an old, stock exhaust. John called me and left me a message telling me of a stock exhaust being offered for only $30 shipped! Perfect!

He went out of his way to call me and let me know! Amazing! Thanks so much John!

Toybreaker just sent me a very well packaged brake caliper carrier. I didn't even send payment before he shipped.

Well, by another courier (gmp), John loaned me a spare ECU to diagnose my injector problems. A lot easier than throwing new parts at the car and not fixing the problem. Thanks yet again for being a good Galant Samaritan!

Usual story, sends me a needed part on his own dime ( A/C switch ). This despite the fact he knows I am selling the vehicle.
Grumpy or not, best person on this site bar none and a true asset to all GVR4 owners.

I got a PM from Toybreaker to call him and he would walk me through my electrical problem on the phone. He spent 2 nights and multiple hours on the phone with me helping me out. He helped me find the solution to my problem and gave me lots of knowlegable advice. I have lots of respect for people like this. I wish I knew more people like this who take up their own time to help other people out. Especially people they dont even know...thanks John /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/applause.gif

Awesome guy! He drove down to my house to help me install some new wiring and connectors for the coolant neck. After the work was finished - I'd like to believe that I helped, but it was mostly him doing the work - we stood around shooting the sh*t for a while. Not only is he a great guy, but he's got some damn good stories too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

John is a stand up guy with a vast amount of knowledge.

Not only did he drive up to offer his services but drove to his friends house to source another clutch master cylinder but did this all of a great way of paying it forward to the community.

Would not hesitate to drive across the country to give this man a lift just to hear his stories.

Thanks John!

Can't say enough about Toybreaker. When I picked up my old Galant I wanted to get a keyfob but they were sold out. He gave up one of his personal fobs so that I could have one for my car. A great guy and an amazing asset to this board.

Inspirational, really. John pops up out of nowhere, guides me to where I need to go, shows or gives me what I need to get there, and teaches me along the way.

He's sort of like Gandalf.

John is a stand-out amongst the crowd kind of guys. He is like my 2nd father with tons of wisdom and guidance, spend the whole night at Bandi just talking to me like I was a real person.

Thanks for being a great friend John.

Bump up for the one and only "Toybreaker". Helped me out with some quick action on some parts lately, at a great price!

Thanks John for all you do for this board (and probably others too).

Toybreaker (John) recently responded to a WTB ad regarding a set of radio brackets for #5. He not only promptly replied to the ad, but went as far as packaging and shipping them without anything other than a few PMs back and forth and a set of terms we both agreed to. It's absolutely fantastic to know someone with this caliber of character and trust is a part of our community. Im honored to bave had the opportunity to do business with John, and look forward to him having anything else i may need in the future.

Bottom line, Toybreaker is as nice/good as they come. Thanks a million!
