If you can weld or have a friend with a welder, you could probably make any shifter cable work right. My car has a 92 trans in it and 90 shifter cables from a dsm (previous owners mistake). Just put the cables in without them locked into the brackets on each end, see where they need to be, and then modify the brackets. My car would hate going into 3rd and 5th before I fixed mine. And all you need to remove is the center console.
