running without a drive shaft?

Propeller shaft carrier mounts on the way, oem. Don't want to add to the noise. Start with the cheap stuff first I guess...

I actually have more acceleration noise than decel

 

I got the insulators, I want to make sure I am installing them correctly, It seems straight forward, but I've been fooled before.
Larger insulator through the bottom like so:




smaller part on top like so:




And the bolt and flat washer through the bottom? No pics of that, still on the car. Am I maybe missing some pieces?
