You've really got the "original" VR-4 look going... the JDM parts, the original tails (for the e39) and the color looks almost exactly like Jeremy's JDM.

Tahts a nice looking GVR4. Your process was almost the exact same as the path i took with my 92 Eagle talon, just that My stock motor was still strong as heck. Keep up the great work.
 

looks great, please dont go to a skinnier tire, that is perfect.

Those wheels look great with that front bumper. The car would be perfect if you could bring the front ride height down a touch to even out the wheel gaps.

Some updates. I've been working on her for the past 4 years and it's finally coming together. After destroying one motor due to Haltech not configured correcty for Crane ignition box and numerous little issues, like not passing smog, and most recently, a failed oil pump due to timing belt too tight, she's back on the road again. Here are more pictures of the build and where she stands now.

What a nice GVR4. Pretty clean setup too, but I liked your previous wheels better than the current ones. Your GVR4 just sits better with a wider offset and some meaty tires.

Yea, I personally like my Kakimoto's better. The measurements are



Front: 17x8 37mm offset
Rear: 17x9 37mm offset

I'm borrowing my friends skinny 7.5" Volks, because I'm waiting on new rubbers for the Kaki's. I was running FWD at the time and the rubber on those were 215 in front and 235 in back. Overall diameter is different and I didn't want to break the welded center diff when I went back to awd.
