LED interior lighting

I bought one LED festoon bulb off ebay.

Super bright LED, they said.
An upgrade over stock incandescent, they said.

They fuckin' lied. Piece of sh*t thing is sitting in a drawer. I put the stocker back in and haven't thought about trying to "upgrade" my interior lights since. Well, other than the LED strip i put up under the dash behind the hood latch pull. At least now when the door is open i can see the footwell and my fuse box.

I did. One for the trunk and one for the dome. If it works well I'll do the door lights also maybe.

G has been a bad influence on my vehicle so far. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif wheels, cooling system overhaul, now LEDs.... what's next.

how do those work the led is pointed toward the side?

There are 2 leds. You have to learn how a headlight works in order to understand how these work.
