The stock vavle itself is quite a bit quieter than any aftermarket valve. Even VTA isn't really that loud at WOT high rpm shifts. You'll hear it when there isn't much exhaust noise, but at speed the road noise, exhaust, and engine noises will overcome the whoosh.
