There are two adjustments on this MBC. The course adjustment gives like 5 or 6 psi per turn and the fine adjustment (bleed side) gives 1-2psi per turn. I love this MBC and all of its Home Depot goodness. Very rugged and assembled with mad skillz! Nothing is going to come loose on this thing...

Hey guys for everyone who has this mbc please post a pic of where
you have it mounted trying to get some ideas for the best location
Thanks.

Honestly I have to get back on the steel braided line project. I still have the stock lines and since I'm using a new supplier I'll check to see what I can come up with. I will keep you posted /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Ok, I really did get started on the steel braided lines but I don't have a car here that I can fit them up on and I have some questions on clearance issues with the coolant lines.

I can use a steel banjo fitting similar to the factory banjo fitting and it will have a -6AN male on it OR I can use a straight aluminum adapter and a 90 degree -AN fitting but my big question is with the clearance. Usually with a banjo fitting they are used when there is a tight fit.

If anyone has any good close up pictures of how these lines run (Oil Feed, coolant feed and return) that would be great.

As far as the turbo oil drain line it has a flange on each end so you would need to cut the pipe and leaving about an inch on each flange so you can slip the line on it.

The oil feed line I can get made with the banjos on the ends but I noticed that the factory steel line has a different size banjo on each end but the bolt is the same size. Anyone know whats up with that?

I think POT said he was using a RRE type oil feed line that goes to the oil filter housing instead of the head. Again, I don't need the line I just need the line size (-3AN, -4AN), the length of the line and what fitting is on each end (banjo, straight, 90 degree). A picture of the line everyone would like best would also help a lot.

As soon a I can get the specs on the oil feed line I can get a sample oil feed line coming then I'll post up the pictures as soon as it gets here.

I'd be happy to just get one line finished and then we can work on another one.

Ok, anyone that can post up some pictures and give me an idea how much clearance there is around these lines that would be great.

Go back to the last post on page 5 and you will see where I'm at with the lines and what I need to go any further with them. If you can help let me know. I'm not sure what everyone is looking for with the oil feed line either and I'm going to need some ideas / feedback before I can get some samples made up.

My goal is to rid my engine bay of all rubber lines that carry coolant or oil.

Sounds good, like I said I don't have access to a car or I would be able to knock these lines out very easily. I have a full set of stock lines here that a member sent to me but my main concern is the oil feed line. I read somewhere that its relocated to the oil finter housing which will change the length and possible the ends. I really want to get this right the first time and once all the lines are completed and test fit I want to start a clean post for them.

Ok, let me know when you get the oil feed line worked out.

I think most people here still feed the turbo from the head at least I do
unless you are running a big turbo that requires a connection from the ofh.

Does anyone recirculate the air from the bleeder back into the intake?

I would think metered air should be kept in the system instead of vented to the engine bay.

Thanks for the reply. I adjusted the fine adjuster to just barely open and it seems to be running better.
