GST, while I kinda see your point G is right. He can ask whatever he wants for this stuff because the parts are his. Here is rule #1 for buyers.
1. If you add unwanted comments, opinions or you try hijack someone's thread it WILL be deleted no questions asked. Asking questions related to an interest in purchasing the items is okay, complaining about the price/quality/etc is not.
Sometimes I sell used parts on here that I pull from the local junkyards. People even pm me asking me to grab stuff for them and I gladly do it. I do this for a living along with making some specialty parts for the Mirage/Colt guys. I invest my time and like to get paid for it. I like to eat and have fallen in love with things like electricity and having a roof over my head. Sometimes I'll quote someone a price on a part and they'll say I can get it cheaper if I go pull it myself. My reply to that is "No sh*t". I don't enjoy rolling around in the dirt pulling parts or getting taken away by mosquito's at some of these junkyards but I do it. I invest my time & gas. I charge what I think is fair to do this and so far, knock on wood not one single complaint on anything I've ever pulled for anyone on here.
Please don't take this as a personal attack because that's not what it is, not at all. I just think that a man should be able to charge for his time regardless of how much time or sweat it takes. I just urge you to put yourself in his shoes or mine for that matter. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
