Wow I didn't have to say a word! What are friends for if they won't watch your back. As a matter of fact I am prepping the care for a trip to Iowa, I put my wife and three kids in this car for a year and a half and had zero issues while i was away driving truck for a living. I have no reason to ever doubt its reliability, besides, my friggin' crystal ball told me that everything is coo! Its the same one Driggs used. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Good for you! And FWIW, I dont think rex's question was AT ALL out of line. I DD my car, over 60 miles a day typically. Do I worry about it breaking down? Not really. Why would I when I know everything is working just fine??
In the odd chance that it does break down, sure it's a complete surprise and unexpected (because I MAINTAIN my car), but it's not anything that would keep me from going on a long trip any more than the next person....
Again, good for you for getting it ready to go on a long trip. Cars are meant to be DRIVEN! And GLWS for you, sir.
