Quoting turbohf:
sorry, im annoyed in general, so everyone sounds like a dick right now. selling this car is just a loosing battle. i feel im selling it for half what its worth, and still its not enough.
I'd bet most people willing to spend 7.5k on a Galant are probably pretty particular about what they are buying. Couple that with a handful of people actually interested in buying a Galant VR-4 in the first place, and it's a perfect recipe for a losing battle.
If I were buying your car, here's what I would look for:
-
Good high resolution images of every inch of the car. That includes interior, exterior, engine bay, undercarriage, etc. Like I said, good pictures sell cars. A serious buyer will want to see everything I listed.
-Post a video of the car running/driving. Like good pictures, a video of the car in action will alleviate any doubts as to how well the car typically functions.
-Post a log. Personally, if I were buying a heavily modified car like yours, I'd want to see a 3rd gear pull. A log will tell you how well the car is set up, and show any underlying issues that might be present.
Do that stuff, and I think you'll be much more likely to attract a serious buyer in the near term. I sold
1813 a few years back for asking price, and it wasn't nearly as nice as your car. But, I did all the stuff I mentioned above, and it was gone in under 30 days.
At the end of the day, your ad has to sell the car. Sadly, you're selling a Galant VR-4, not an air-cooled Porsche. These turds don't sell themselves.
