Damn Clutch issue

Anyone? Just want to know before I send it out to get it welded.

 

From what I understand in your second picture if you take that nut off where that shaft goes through the pedal assembly it should be a square tube in a square hole. When they wear out I believe one of the squares becomes round.... hence it does not work properly. I would pop that nut off and take a look back there.
