I brought my vr4 to di shop for sum work bt now it
isnt starting, the mechanic said my crank sensor got crystallized and a piece broke off. Can that really happen r is he jus ripping me off??

It is possible the plastic got old and brittle and broke. Have him show you the part.

No idea. You need to tell more about your car, because this is a 6g Galant VR4 forum, and that models do not have a crank sensor.
