Since I couldn't find an adapter that was Both metric bubble male with a metric inverted female. All I found was a fitting that had a SAE 3/8x24 pitch inverted female and obviously with a metric bubble male, so I just cut the flare that was already on the line and I put SAE fitting inplace so I can use the fitting.

So if you cut the line, why not just put the proper fitting in place instead?
