Good to see it all coming together! I love those seats. I wanted some for my car to match my rear seats, but couldn't find any for a reasonable price then came into a deal for some older NIB Recaro recliners.

Thanks James. I'm glad I'm getting so close to getting to drive it for awhile, mostly the way I want it

What's the retail on one of those?

There was one for sale in the Link forums awhile ago for a "good deal" and it was $600 if that gives you an idea....lol.

OP, love the car btw. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worthy.gif

Thanks Diambo. Speaking of the Frontline valve cover, I decided it was going to make my COP setup look like sh*t, so I bought one of these

It's more a case of good credit and poor priorities /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Seriously though, when my mom died my brother and I inherited the Habitat for Humanity house we grew up in. 3 bedrooms and 4 people living here makes it cheap, but also crowded. I was forced to rent my home out, so I spent the security deposit $600 on parts. Seats were bought with my tax return. My Subaru is running wastegate pressure because I sold the Apexi boost controller, meth injection and SS fuel lines to fund the Galant. I also fully parted out 960/1000 and 774/2000. Anyways, you get the idea. 1501 is being built on hard work and sacrifices

I know. I just felt obligated since I just did a fundraiser for my mom within the last year. I don't want anyone to think we didn't really need the help then.

I've been hard at work on the VR4 now the weather is warmer again. Gutted the interior to remove some weight, swap dashes, and install 89 manual seatbelts and my EVO SE seats.

My best friend who was helping me suggested we tag underneath the new dash. I wanted to make the next person laugh, so...

Also found out that the "small gap" left by the 89 seat belt plastics is more like the Grand Canyon

I've also got my rear subframe and gas tank re-installed. Replaced my other OEM rear metal brake line, assembled and ran my Goodridge 910 fuel lines and my Fuelab fiberglass filter.

Making some black blocks too? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Love the hidden messages. At work I'll find them here and there.

Just one black cinder block lol The carpet kept wanting to float.

And no one else will ever own 1501, but i wanted to write something that would make the next guy chuckle. Maybe I'll have kids eventually and it will be my son /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

I had to darken it up with a can of Duplicolor fabric dye, but I'm happy with the results. It looks darker in person

Should leave your son some inspiring message, like put the wrench down, get out the garage and go make friends, be social, have a life outside of this car.

EVO IX SE rear seats installed. Thanks Shane for the write up. It was definitely helpful

89 seat belt conversion finished. I ended up using my stock lower B pillar pieces. I plan to slot the carpet so it can tuck around. I still need to round up some bolt covers
