i refilled it, but would not take more than 1 can, so i figured it was clogged. but my mechanic which is my homeboys brother, told me theres a filter or something on the line that is probably clogged, because i filled that 1 can and it was "full" after emptying it fully, then he just emptied it and it was discharging for a good 3 minutes.

Refilled it with what? Our cars originally used R12. Has it been retrofitted to use R134a? Maybe you should have somebody professional other than your "homeboys" brother look at the AC system. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

my homeboys 2 brothers are both ASE certified, and have been mechanics for 11 years, they built my brothers mr2 turbo, and he built his own personal Stroker Talon TSI AWD. Also hes building Tr3ezys motor as well.Yes i tried using R134 for the conversion.

Sorry, but "a filter or something is clogged" just doesn't sound like a very good diagnosis of the issue, ASE certified for 11 years or not. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I believe what you are talking about is an oriface tube filter not hard to change if you know where it is... Try haveing a deep vacuum put on the A/C system before charging it... Just my 2 cents
