I can't believe you're doing rear end work on your bedroom floor carpet. WTF? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Car is out and about driving rather fine now, alignment and safety tomorrow ($60 = 4 wheel alignment /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif) and I'm hoping to have up to date plates on it asap!

Some updates, as all of you know the Galant didn't make it back from the Shootout due to a faulty Jay's Racing alternator relocation bracket. Since the car was down I decided to do a few small much needed upgrades such as a new cat-back system, intake pipe, new axle, a replacement relocation bracket, along with some other misc. things.

Exhaust finished up and I was also able to install the oil cooler. Don't worry about the placement, but I'll be creating a duct from the wheel well to carry fresh air to that position.

Exactly, hoping to have the car back on the ground, driving @26lbs, and tuned. Track in a couple weeks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Cutting, fitting, tacking, and then welding. I'd say a little over 1-2 hours. Not too shabby really for my first custom exhaust build. It's dangerously loud though, especially at WOT, I can't even hear the wastegate dump /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

List of things to do in the next month or so:

Pull motor and clean up everything.
Coat block in high temp black paint.
Powder-coating.
New turbo/downpipe.
New intake manifold.
Completely rewire interior and engine bay w/ relocating fuse box to glovebox.
Wrap interior in suede, everything.
Redo sound-deadening.
New sound system.
Bigger injectors.
Respray engine bay.

Sounds promising?

Exterior paint can use some clean up...fill in some rock chips, wet sand and buff it. No biggy really /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
