so nice! time to find some center caps /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Cheapest I found were $21 per center cap...include shipping its at $100. I guess this is the price to play for BBS status. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Wifey, my son and my little baby girl all fell asleep...so this gave me time to work on the GVR4 and finish up its new oil catch setup. Had the welding work done at Kings Performance in Orlando by a guy who is big on DSM's. Looks like I am going to take Stitch there to get a couple things done. Also got a new Hyundai VC wrinkle coated with all new Hyundai specific VC Gasket and spark tube gaskets as they are slightly bigger than the Mitsubishi gaskets as i was having a oil leakage from the VC with the Mitsubishi OEM gasket. I also had my coolant temp adapter welded to the thermostat housing to eliminate a source where coolant can leak.

Ryan...I used this stuff. Pretty simple to use and apply. Just make sure the surface is prepped nicely and let it cure and it will hold up. While changing the spark plugs the socket came off my wrench and hit the VC and the paint didn't chip.

VHT Wrinkle Plus coating

I got it from a local Race shop while purchasing some AN fittings, but I believe some Pep boys or Autozones may carry it.

Quick update...still planning on switching from my current MAFT setup to Ecmlink speed density but not willing to spend cash on that to sacrafice my daughters upcoming 1st birthday and baptism, so Ecmlink will have to wait a couple more months. I have a couple things I am doing to the car, but I will reveal that later.

Just really concentrating on getting my 7th gen ready for the upcoming NASA events in March or June.

Did you ever get around to throwing the 235/40 tires on there? I'm curious to see how that setup fits at that offset!

Well after 7 years JSBing going through a rebuild and upgrades..1948 finally went on public roads so I can finally finish the exhaust after changing a few things up. Car still have a few kinks to work out and a couple more things I want to upgrade but felt damn good driving it again.

Looking good, except foe that muffler. That manifold coating doesn't look like it's holding up either /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have no cooling issues with the half radiator set up so far....its a triple core, so that may make a difference.

Yes..you are right G about the manifold coating not holding up. I used some VHT stuff several years ago to coat the manifold when times where tough and getting it ceramic coated was out of my budget. One of the things I am planning is to get it ceramic coated.

To each their own...but I like my muffler. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Wanted a more unified color scheme in the motorbay so I got the COP plate and intercooler piping painted matte black. Replaced the broken Zanklee clear cam cover with a HKS one and installed a RCI billet fuel rail and finally tucked my throttle cable.

Now the Magnus Black cast intake manifold is calling my name more than ever. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
