Software Upgraded - Reset Your Password to Login
In order to log in after the forum software change, you need to reset your password. If you don't have access to the email address you used to register your GVR4.org account, you won't be able to reset your password. In that case, follow the instructions here to regain access to the forum.
wow good work! Yeah my brother in law did the same thing on his expedition. came out really well except he needs to buff the spot where it ran alittle.
Did they put an additive in the paint for flexibility? That's my only concern for you, since you're painting plastic parts. The plastic itself is fairly flexible, but the real danger is expansion and shrinking from thermo cycling (summer/winter) and causing the paint to crack. Might want to keep an eye on it.
its been over a year and the paint has help up great in the New England weather! it does have a couple chips though, nothing major that a stock 92 grille wouldn't have!
no i didn't, if i were to do it again i would use etching primer. all i did was scuff it with a red scotch brite pad, and layed down the walmart flat black as a primer...
