Software Upgraded - Reset Your Password to Login
In order to log in after the forum software change, you need to reset your password. If you don't have access to the email address you used to register your GVR4.org account, you won't be able to reset your password. In that case, follow the instructions here to regain access to the forum.
prop valve is a different bias, but you can use the hard lines from a FWD car on the front of the VR-4 to eliminate the ABS. Although, I seem to recall that the prop valve is mounted in a different place on a 2WD than it is on a 4WD Galant, though this could only be for RHD vehicles.
Yeah, all the FWD galants I've inspected have the prop valve mounted to the brake booster. The lines are completely different.
You can still use the FWD prop valve but like fuel said, the bias (front/rear brake pressure) will be slightly different.
That may be true for NZ cars, but I seem to recall the last time I looked at a few DSM's in junkyards the prop valve was mounted in the same place.
Go look where your prop valve is and find a car in a junk yard and see for yourself.
You'll need the two lines from the MC to the prop valve, the two lines for each front brake from the pop valve, and the prop valve itself. The rear lines don't need to be messed with.
