22mm Front Sway Bar Brackets?

I have a Whiteline 22mm swaybar on the Galant, and installed it using the factory swaybar brackets. Since then, I guess one of the brackets came loose and fell off, as it is totally missing now.

I thought I saw someone on here with some nice aftermarket front swaybar brackets (I want to say they were all shiny and polished and such) but I can't find the thread. Can someone point me in the right direction and tell me where I can find something that can keep this swaybar in place? Thanks in advance guys.

Contact progress suspension - Look on their site - They sell some real beefy brackets.

Sorry, I didnt realize gvr4 has a different bracket. I was under the impression bushing brackets are somewhat universal. They should be all the same and the bolt holes are notched

This is what I meant:

They won't work on the front without drilling into the crossmember. (might fit the rear though)

If you look at the first pic, you can see there is only one bolt. the other is a notch that hooks into the crossmember. Other than OEM, I wasn't aware anyone made different brackets for the front, sorry.

From my build thread: -

Finally got to the shop today. Didn't make loads of progress but damn it feels good to be back at the car again. First off I posted before about the problems I had with the mounts and bushings for the larger diameter front sway bar. I was so sick of trying to hack it before going back to the UK I had Ken drop it off at the machine shop for this to be done:

Not all that pretty, but very effective. I don't think I will do an aftermarket bar on the daily but I do have an uprated rear for it and I will definitely be doing mounts like this on the rear 3KGT subframe when it goes in.

I had a machine shop custom make those, together with welding on the "washers" to stop any lateral movement. I used a solid internal nylon/delrin type bushing as well although I suppose you could use a stock/urethane one.

I will be getting some made for the rear as I said. I could ask if they could do a front set for a 22mm bar but are you looking to do this soon. It's coming up to Chinese New Year and everything shuts down for the holidays. If Ken doesn't do this within the next week or so it might be a bit of a wait.

You are welcome to copy it ... it's nothing proprietary /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif
