im not saying they are not. but the last set i got came in a box that was similar to the box of rings. color was a little lighter on the yellow. but they also weren't for a 4G63.

Nippon Racing...NPR? All of the NPR pistons I have installed have came in a similar box with the same type of box for the rings. I just looked at a couple of sets I have on the shelf for Honda's and they look like they could be the same piston as the one in your picture. I would be pretty sure those are NPR pistons!

Quoting Terry Posten:
Why does the rings box say "4G63SOHC"?

Maybe It's for a 4g63 Single Over Head Cam engine.

From my research back in the day the F1 at the end = 2g pistons, 8.5:1 CR.

Not sure if they're knock-offs, look like OEM stampings to me...

BTW, can't tell you where they were made, but the writing on the white box is Japanese, not Chinese. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif(see other thread).

Knockoffs my friend... They still use old casting numbers vs OE replacement ones.
Ive got a set of 2G factory pistons in box still, ill take some pics of the major difference.
Dont lean on them too hard /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
