Mac 3-way Pneumatic Air Valve used in the glass & tire industry.

Yes, that is what I thought. It looks like the 3-way valve that Dejon supplied with their BOV mod kit.

Okay well I have the dejon intake still but I just put on an hks ssq and is vented to air now

Are you still running the MAF and venting your BOV to the atmosphere?

If your running a MAFS and venting your BOV to the atmosphere your car will never run the way its supposed to. If you want to vent to the atmosphere you need to run some type of speed density. IE, DSMLINK, VPC, Translator, DSMAP or some type of standalone.

By not recirculating your BOV your MAFS is calculating for air that is NOT there when you vent to the atmosphere.

This the second time TODAY that I made a post about this. You noobs need to do some research before you start modifing your cars to save yourselves some headaches. I'm suprised this isn't a sticky in the Newbie thread section.

Usually as long as the BOV holds tight, the only time you will notice a difference of venting to atmo with a MAS car is when letting off the throttle. The car will often die at stoplights, etc due to the lack of compensated air that you are venting. I've also seen stumbling when shifting quickly into the next gear, etc. And besides, with a good intake pipe, open filter and FMIC....it's just as loud as venting, with the bonus of not stalling in front of your friends.
