what is number 13

I've never taken one out. I've done NA and turbo heads, but don't recall seeing this part. I got a head at home I'll look at, but I'm confused on this one.

Pretty sure it's a pressure regulator located under the cover listed as #14 in the snap.

Here is another pic, see the "valve body" shown near the turbo oil supply with a small arrow pointing down:

Yup, the guys are right. HLA regulator. They look a little different over the years, but serve the same purpose. Most people never remove them, Kiggly makes a bad ass one that helps keep more oil in the pan without starving the head/turbo feed etc.

So in 91 it changed to just the one piece that looks like #14? I just looked at a 90 head I have. All the rockers are different and the hla piece also looks different. I might have one of #13 in a different box. I didn't know what it was.

^^ No the HLA resides UNDER the #14 cap/cover. You don't see the HLA without removing said cover plate.
