Stuff I build is just stuff to me one car part is no different than any other, but this turned out slick.

Palm fits snug and has to be inserted at an angle then squeezed to be installed. Proof a square peg fits in a round hole.

Unless your running a yard stick for a handle it will clear. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is for the center vent.

thats pretty sweet.

got any other cool ideas for that spot? I broke my vents and never use the air or heat so i want to put something there. I have your triple gauge hold in the raido sport already.

Yes I agree, definitely slick. I wonder how the iPhone would fit in that cradle. Is the plate bent to fit the vent opening or it just squares it off? I started to fab something myself but it's going to look like crap (keeping it real), so I'm interested if you start to roll these out.

Wow...nice idea and finish! Are you going to entertain the idea of making some for those of us?! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

could you make that set up you have there, but instead of the datalogger can you make something to hold a shift light. and i would also still want the spot for the dataloging cord (for my aem and i can plug right into that spot where the vent is instead of the ecu. Thanks

Could you make the Palm cradle and have some sort of clip so that it attaches to the vent... for those of use with functioning vents that we want to retain?

It would have to clip in the center and and would probably be better off just ordering one from ebay for that because if its made out of aluminum the weight of it and the palm combined would probably break the little plastic tabs. Perez aka thadirtybird has one in his car so there not made of unobtainium

palm mounts on ebay
