That turbo will take a lot of fabrication to do you any good. It would require a custom manifold and I'm not even sure it would fit right.
The big thing is that its a mirror image of the 'normal' turbo. Because the engine sits the other way in an evo and the turbo is in front of the engine, the turbo spins the opposite way from what we have. This means that if you were to put the evo 9 turbo on your galant, the exhaust housing would curl out towards the radiator instead of in towards the engine. This would probably make things very difficult to package.
On top that, the turbo is a twin scroll, meaning you'll need a divided manifold with the 1 and 4 runners paired and the 2 and 3 runners paired.
Basically its too much fabrication for a sane person to undertake, especially when there are much better options available.
You might look into using an evo X turbo because, from what I understand, they are normal flow but still divided.
