Thought this would be nice to share kpa to boost

i couldnt find anything on here so searched and searched and have found it, so if anyone has turbo timers like blitz that read kpa of boost and wanted to know lbs well these are the numbers in pic below

It's roughly that at sea level, IIRC. The higher above sea level you are the lower the atmospheric pressure is.

It's true that atmospheric pressure drops as you gain altitude but 1 ATM is a defined pressure value and doesn't change no matter where you are. It is defined as the average atmospheric pressure at sea level which is experimentally determined to be 14.7... psi.

Actually, 1 barg = 14.5 psig or .9869 atmosphere (which is 14.7 psig @ sea level)
