That price is fair. They are worth what its worth to you. With the maintenance and time it takes owning one, its not a car you by for resale value. Owning a VR4 is a labor of love, not an investment.

For some reason people think they should be able to find one with a rebuilt powertrain, no dents or rust and only pay $2,000. Those don't exist.

I bought my car to save it from some flat bill wearing ass hat who thinks its a cheap EVO. I already have more into it that I can ever reasonable expect to get out of it. They may appreciate, but not enough for it ever to be considered a wise financial decision.

"rebuilt power train, no dents or rust and only pay $2,000. Those don't exist." Hang tight, I found one real close to this description. Stay tuned.

Was asking a serious question since kbb and nada don't like going past 20 years.

If your a Craiglist freak like me and go from city to city/Near by states you can find some deals I would say from 3-4k but there's people out there that see theses a 20+ year old sports car and could be founded under 3k some one just bought 390/2k for $2000 from original owner. It just takes time and patience a good deal will pop around here or there when the time comes just be the first to scoop it up.

The main thing to remember is to take your time, and buy the car YOU want to buy. It took me almost 2years to find one "worth it" to me, and this is in a state that has a very fair amount of GVR4s running around. Like i said, the main thing is to keep your head clear, and make a very educated and well thought out decision when it comes to picking one of these up.

You can find really good deals, but you can also find yourself way over your head very easily.
