Dosn't the amber part blink OEM??

I ordered brand new ones from the dealer since these are stock on my VR-4, and on them the amber part does blink and the other part is a parking light/side marker.

Mr_wolfy; dare i ask, what they costed new??

And yes, the amber parts OEM blink. I could be mistaken, but i first thought they both blink?

They share the same power source so i'm assuming they operate in unison.

Same metal contact paper but I think I see three pins on the connector.
One for running lights, one for turn signals but at my age the vision is blurry at best.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Only the Amber Blinks, the other is one when your parking lights/Head lights are on..

I can't remember how much I paid for them since it was several moths ago now since I ordered them, allthough I think they were pretty expencive /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/uhh.gif

And as members here mentioned, it's only the amber spot that blinks and the clear spot works as a parking light or side marker.

There are however some aftermarket turn signals that looks just like these, and on them both spots works as a parking light or side marker, the brand on them are DEPO. I bought them over 2 years ago and I had to rewire the amber spot so it could blink like it should in stock form.. the reason was that the paper metal conector wasn't the same on the DEPO signals as on the stock ones, the DEPO amber spot shared the same power source as the parking light while the OEM turn signals amber spot ones actually uses the third pin on the connector that is the turn signal power source..

With other words, the stock and aftermarket signals are the same, it's all in the paper metal conector.. however there are no OEM ones of these were both spots lit at the same time, OEM ones always uses the amber spot as a turn signal since there is only one part number for these signals! But I don't know how it works with the US version signals /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

i was thinking about ordering a pair of new ones myself, but that quite depends on the price. Do you have a part no?
