Regarding the OFH - What sensors are actually used?

I was wondering what exact sensors are used? Do they both need to be there or is one of them only used in the 1G T/E/L?

I am looking to take in for a oil pressure sensor for my Greddy Gauge.

EDIT:
Here are the two sensors:

This is where they sit (on a watercooled OFH the air cooled one they sit a bit different)

You'll have to post up pics to make sure, but from my recollection, DSMs use a large sender for the oil pressure gauge, and a small one for the dummy light. Since galants don't have a pressure gauge, they only need the small one.

I thought so too...does the ECU log oil pressure through the gauge or dummy light or none at all?

I will snap pictures tomorrow.

There is no logging of the oil pressure switch or sender.

The threads in the OFH are 1/8" BSPT for the switch and 3/8" BSPT for the sender on DSM's.

As was already mentioned, the GVR4 does not come with a sender stock but does have a 3/8" BSPT plug at the bottom that can be used.

Sweet. I will be keeping that in mind.

Looks like that massive bell/umbrella sensor is the pressure sensor while the other one is the dummy light. Someone correct me if they think I am wrong.

Thanks,
Alan

That is correct. The small one in the front is the switch and the large one coming off the bottom is the sender.
