Question about fuel pump(searched, just wanna make sure)

if the car has a stock setup, meaning no modification, what kind of fuel pump should use?

1)stock fuel pump? if so, where to get one? anyone suggest those cheap one from ebay?
2)ok, upgrade to walbro 255 HP? how does it work with stock setup? does it require an installation kit to go with it? or just modify the stock sending unit?
3)if the upgrade pump is suggested, where to get a good new one for a good price?

I guess it depends on what you're goals are. If it's anything but stock, upgrade. You can find wally255/AFPR combos for around $180 on Ebay and that flows more than you will probably ever need.

The problem with the higher flow pumps is that they tend to overrun the stock fuel pressure regulator. in other words you end up with higher than wanted fuel pressure @ idle or low throttle cruise then come in line a bit under high demand, makes it a real bitch to tune. if your plans are to keep the car mostly stock then a stock pump with a rewire will take care of things nicely, if you're looking to head north of 15lbs of boost you need to upgrade the pump & all that goes with it.

If I want to go stock, what is the best place to get a stock fuel pump replacement? anyone tried those ebay $30 fuel pump? obviously, dealer is not the place I want to go.

or just get a walbro 190? and any other alternatives, like from other DSM cars?

You can use the walbro 190 or even evo8/9 fuel pump.
