I just got my Mahle pistons today. They look a lot better than the JE's i have in my present engine. Can't wait to get everything together on this new build.

The photo of all the pistons lined up from left to right is 1g turbo, Mahle 1g .040 over 8.6:1CR, 2g turbo, 1g N/A. You can see why i only ran the N/A pistons for a year.. busted ring lands FTL.

Do all the Mahle pistons come banadized like these or what? maperformance took quite a while to ship them and said they had to go through some vendor, and then directly to mahle.. it was kind of a hassle i guess. Delayed my order beyond the week it took them to process it in the first place.

 

I bought a set of Mahle's for my stroker. Light as hell. I think like 350 grams with the wrist-pin and rings. Very cool.

Im using Mahles for my new engine, too.

mitsuturbo - I dont think MAP specifies what they have in stock. English was able to get my pistons very quickly. MAP took forever to get parts to me. I placed 1 order and they ended up coming in different shipments about a week apart. First shipment came about 2 weeks after I placed the order.

My Mahles will be in this week too. I'm done with Wiesco.

In a way, I was glad the Wisecos would have taken too long to get here.

That name has been tainted for me from my motocross racing days.
