Pics of custom 10an oil return line set up?

Looking for pics of the extreme psi 10an oil return line kit installed.

I’m wondering if I should of left the steel braided hose long enough to loop around and hang under the car a hair or if it’s better to cut the SS line to 2-3” like I’ve done.

It came with enough length to bolt up but just looked funny doing a full circle before being bolted on

In hindsight I should of tried to bolt it on like that first and asked if it was cool.

I've never seen one looped, but at first glance that looks a bit short. Not sure that will cause you any issues as everything is attached to the engine block together.

Ya I’m going to pull it out because it’s leaking already and I haven’t even put oil back in the car yet.

If you can see the angle of the lower an fitting looks like it would fit a lot better if bent 5* more towards in the turbo drain.

Should I attempt to place it in a Vice and bend it a hair?

Before doing that I’ll be pulling it back out and replacing that SS line with one about 1/2” longer

But thanks good to know it’s not supposed to be looped

The braided line hose looks 'tweaked' at the straight AN fitting side...It would appear rotating the 90° AN fitting about its axis, slightly clockwise may alleviate that. In addition, the hose looks like it may be a little short, in that it seems to 'pull' it at the straight side, further tweaking it. However, it's sort of hard to tell in the pic what's really causing that distortion. Regardless of reason, that's not a proper 'install' for these types of hose/fittings, as far as alignment, length, etc.

As for the other direction on the 90° fitting, be really careful bending the fitting since it's not only thin aluminum [crack easily] but the radius is short, so it would be real easy to kink the bend. Would that be detrimental to flow, etc. if that were to happen within reason, probably not...just have to use caution. Even so, it'd be a last resort IMO to modify the fitting.

mine's very short, but I ended up with some 45* fittings in there, and I have an HKS manifold so the placement is a bit different. On top of that, I have a -10 welded to the pan, which I like for eliminating at least one leak point.
