I took apart my center console because my shifter was "wobbly" and comes to find out the shifter arm bushings are in a few different peices. Any one know any parts store that has these in stock or anywhere on line i can pick them up? Thanks.
blue642 has made replacement bushings before. I also had made some but no longer have access to a machine shop like I did at school. As far as I know, you cant buy just the bushings at the parts store.
EDIT: You can slap a 1g T/E/L shifter on your shifter base. Find one with good bushings and you'll also get a shorter throw.
Thanks guys. After hours it seemed like on the phone with Mitsubishi i finally had them find the bushing for me. They had to be special ordered and should be here on wednesday. Thanks for the help guys.
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/uhh.gif I hope you didnt pay too much. I did mine for less than ten bucks (of course this was only materials cost) and I think blue's bushings were well priced.
