Megan Racing O2 Housing

Anybody have experience with these things as found on Megan Racing's website? They're suppose to be a direct bolt-on with a 2.5" opening. I figure these would make installation easier since it doesn't have the angle difference as found in the Evo 3 version. They're about $110 shipped on eBay so it's not that bad.

I had one just like that (Not sure if it was Megan but it was an Ebay one) that came with my old 1g and it worked fine. No leaks or problems.

I bought one used off of some one and its held fine for over a year now.

 

Sweet, I'm gonna pick one up. I'll let you guys know how it goes as I think it's time to upgrade my ported 2G o2 housing.

The only issue with them is no provisions for mounting the heat shield. So I suggest coating it, wrapping it, or making the stock shield work or any combination of the 3.

why would you coat SS. its going to retain alot of heat the way it is??

i was under the impression that SS had alot more heat retaining property's to it

 

If your interested I have one that I ported out a little bit more still brand new for 95 shipped.

It does, that doesn't mean it's enough.
