indicator on the cluster? color change what is this?

It's between amber and green. Only changes the gauge cluster though not the HVAC stuff or anything else. Those manuals at the top there are for DSM's really so they wont help you with GVR4 specific stuff like this.

Yes but they are harder to come by and really not necessary when you can just get a dsm service manual, at least that's my opinion. For questions like this though an owner's manual is useful just like the op said.
