i am new and own 23/2000 and have some questions

has anyone ever welded there front diff because wen i bought my galant it was welded i was told u can kinda tell because its turn radious isnt normal but i guess my question is is where can i get a new diff from

I think you'll find if a diff is welded it'll be the center not the front. Post up in the wanted to buy section. Is the trans otherwise in good shape? May want to consider having it gone through while it's apart if not.

If the center diff is welded your car becomes four wheel drive not all wheel drive. what you'll find is that when turning the rolling speed variations of all four wheels will cause binding just like a 4x4 locked in. this will get more pronounced the tighter the turn. Is that what your getting?

Probably your center diff, not your front diff. Pretty easy to swap out, if you have sufficient tools. You can purchase a 4 spider center diff from Jack's. click

A little spendy at 999 outright, though.
