Hood strut

So I acquired 2 hydraulic struts from agco mfg supply where my dad works they are brand new and are 12 inches fully extended and 8.5 inches compressed. Will they work for what I want them to. I am unsure of ratings but the info on them are. Eberhard. Powerrise. 751391 0142n. 165/06. A. 2. Eaa-8350-30
