Not sure if the mitsubishi mls headgasket changes it but what should I torque the studs and nuts to with a 1g head

i would torque to spec. mls headgasket is thinner so maybe a half pound less torque??

Torque it the same as you would the composite gasket. Go by what ARP says, which I assume you're using since you said studs and nuts.

Yes it says 90 ft lbs in a three step sequence so I will go by that

Follow the guide depending on whether you use the proper supplied moly lube or other friction modifier.

I used the supplied lube, from my understanding the torque will be 30.-60.- and then 90ft.lbs as the final turn. Have to wait to torque I think the machine shop fu$$$$ up re installing the valvetrain.

The mitsu MLS gasket is, in fact, THICKER than a "stock" gasket. NOT THINNER.
The mitsu MLS gasket MD349347 was released with a TSB stating it was to be used on short blocks which have been decked for a rebuild. That was the original purpose/intent of the gasket.
You can get Cometic gaskets which are thinner, but i've heard mixed reviews about them.

Why would thinner require less torque? That doesn't make any sense! Follow ARP's guide lines and you will be fine.

Yeti with the type of questions you post I would suggest you stick to asking more questions and not giving false information.
