Brandon is a prime example of what makes this board such a nice place to business.

He ran out of space and had to sell his project car, and posted it for sale in our for sale section. I was lucky enough to buy it, sight unseen. We didn't really discuss what would be included, as his for sale thread was very thorough.

We discussed the current state of the car, and what it would take to tow it back to Colorado. He was brutally honest about it's condition. We did the deal, and made arrangements for me to come and get it.

A week later, I set out in a snowstorm on the five hundred mile trek to pick the car up.

I showed up at the appointed time, (with one eye on the weather,) ready to prep the car to be towed behind my truck (on a tow dolly,). I was figuring on a whole days work, a few hours sleep at a motel, and then load and go the next day.

When I got there, I saw Brandon had already installed a hood, the three bolt lsd and a set of halfshafts the day before. He even hunted down a mustache brace and the hardware to make the thing a roller.

All that was left was details, so I chased the tow dolly from a U-haul down the street.

When I got back, he had already removed the center driveshaft, and was getting everything else ready to go. All that was left to do was wire up the car for lights. I got busy fabbing up a wiring harness to run the vr4 tail lights directly off my truck. When I finished, and got ready to help Brandon change the rear struts, I saw he had already changed them, and even replaced one of the collars to make things more secure for towing.

He had handled a whole days worth of prep, and the car was ready to go. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worthy.gif

He also included many parts that were not explicity spelled out in the ad, including all of the badging, in perfect condition. (That, in of itself, shows his character, as I know he was offered $$ for the badging, and he kept it with the car.)

He also took the time to get a fresh title, and made sure to dot all the "i's" and cross all the "t's" with a very thorough bill of sale.

All in all, the best transaction I've had in a long time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/applause.gif

Brandon's hard work got me out of Salt Lake City before a pretty substantional winter storm hit that night and into the next day. (It chased me all the way across Wyoming, but that's a whole 'nother story /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif) )

I can't say thanks enough! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worthy.gif

You saved #834/2000, and it will roll again. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif

Brandon did me a solid by sending me the necessary fittings to hook up a fuel pressure gauge on my fuel filter. He sent them to me free of charge and didn't even ask to be reimbursed for shipping. He is a good example of the kind of people who make it a pleasure to frequent this board.

I just got my filter and 3G MAS adapter.

It's in exactly the condition he described, and even left the hardware on the adapter.

Nice packaging and would definitely do business again.

I sold him a stock BOV. Communication was great and payment was sent quickly. I would easily do business with him again.
