Holy God. I'm glad my MN car doesn't look like that.

People fixed that but cutting out that entire tube and replacing it. If you search around the site you should be able to find something. Most use AN fittings on the outlet, but you should be able to convert to metric.

damn ... might be cheaper and easier to put a fuel cell in that ... guess it depends on how much of a daily driver it is

yea..looks like it has been leaking for awhile. The rest of the car is just some surface rust here and there.

Either replace the fuel sending unit or drill out the position where that line comes out (with it removed from the tank of course)and replace it with a AN bulkhead fitting. The studs holding it on will probably want to snap off too /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

If your not feeling like pulling it now, you can clean it up real good and patch it with jb weld. Not a permanent fix, but I've used that method to get me by.

I'd like to replace it with steel braided lines. However it doesn't look like the nut will be coming off the studs without taking it with.

I would take a Dremel with a wire wheel to the studs to clean them up. Then spray some PBblaster all over them to penetrate the threads under the nuts. Then cross your fingers.

anybody have a quick parts list for me so i can try to pick these AN fittings at the local shop?

That's too far gone, no matter what you do it's just going to crumble. Start looking for a new sending unit.

DAMN IT. Fuel is leaking from the other hose now. The one that is connected directly to the tank (one without the pressure valve). Could I just cap it and splice it after the pressure valve line? What's the purpose of that third line?
