Absolutely no flaking. The black tops do not need to be painted. You can see them through the inside of the headlight on the closeup. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of them. I will grab some pictures of them soon. The buckets are in perfect condition. There is one very very small rock chip on each headlight. I tried to get pictures of these chips as best I could. Shipped price is for continental U.S. only.
