Looking for a good home for my 1992 VR-4, #596/1000. Great daily driver/project car that has spent its life in New Mexico. I’m the second owner- bought off my brother’s mother-in-law who took excellent care of it, just apparently never washed or waxed the car, so needs re-spray.

Interior in excellent shape, all original and only has a split seam on the driver’s seat.
Have JDM “Cyclone” motor in the car now with ~80,000 miles on it. Also have JDM transmission and transfer case. Had intended to rebuild and reinstall original motor and sell JDM motor/trans/t-case, but never happened.
Here’s a list of most other things I did to it:
Spec stage 2 clutch
K Sport adjustable coilovers w/ camber plates
Energy Suspension urethane bushings all around and Prothane motor mounts
New ball joints/tie rods/front bearings
Whiteline rear sway bar
Goodridge stainless steel brake lines
Four wheel steering removed and trailing arms welded
Rear viscous LSC from Performance Partout
3” exhaust (downpipe back by local shop)
17x7” 6 spoke wheels with new A/S tires
PLX Multi Gauge with Air/Fuel ratio, Boost, Voltage & Oil pressure gauges (oil pressure sender/unit not installed)
Sony double-din head unit with bluetooth, backup camera, etc. and new dash speakers installed
Replaced both rotted front fenders from leaves/dirt sitting at rocker panels and coated with bedliner
Have replacement windshield trim and clips

Original motor/JDM tranny and t-case, original 5 spoke wheels w/ tires, and spare parts come with the car.

Basically stock and set up as a dependable daily driver I could take to track days/HDPE’s. Handles great on the track (same times as my Spec Miata). Absolutely love the car, but there are too many projects, etc. going on. Car is out of Santa Fe.

Looks like a nice non rusted example. At this point, I've completely forgotten how the cyclone intake works. Good luck with the sale. I see zero rust. Maybe include underside pics?

Looks pretty good, especially for being under the New Mexico sun. Could you DM me the cars VIN? I would like to look up its history and then come back to you if I have any questions.
